Aziz Ahamed
Founder & Chairman of the Board
Aziz founded Destination Auto Group in 1983 with the acquisition of Jubilee Plymouth Chrysler on Vancouver's North Shore. Over more than 35 years as President, he grew the company from a single dealership into one of Metro Vancouver's most recognized and trusted automotive groups. In 2023, Aziz transitioned to Chairman of the Board, where he continues to provide strategic guidance and long-term direction to the organization.

Adil Ahamed
President & Chief Executive Officer
Adil joined Destination in 2012 after earning his MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from Cornell University. His career spans investment banking with Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs in New York, and international development with the Aga Khan Development Network. Since joining the family business, Adil has driven a cultural transformation — professionalizing management, increasing revenues by 63%, and championing innovations like CarSimple and Best Price First that redefine the guest experience.

Lee Man, CA
Group Chief Financial Officer
Lee joined Destination Auto Group in 2020, bringing deep expertise in financial operations, risk management, and data-driven performance improvement. His background includes senior executive finance roles at Seaspan Ship Management, Syscon Justice Systems, and Sierra Systems. Lee is passionate about driving operational excellence through analytics and automation — capabilities that are integral to the Group's continued growth.

Aziz Ahamed acquired Jubilee Plymouth Chrysler, establishing Destination's first retail automotive operation on the North Shore of Vancouver.
Kingsway Honda opened in March following acquisition from the Bill Docksteader Group, expanding the company into Vancouver.
Acquired University Toyota in Burnaby, now operating as Destination Toyota Burnaby.
Unified all operations under the Destination Auto Group brand — one name, one promise, one standard of guest experience across every location.
Destination Kingsway Honda relocated to 368 Kingsway, becoming Canada's first mixed-use residential and commercial automotive facility — a new model for urban dealership design.
Destination Honda Burnaby began operations on Lougheed Highway. We pioneered our 30-Minute Oil Change — a first for Honda dealerships in Canada — setting a new standard for express service.
Launched Best Price First — a transparent, market-value-based used vehicle pricing model designed to simplify the purchase experience for our guests.
A landmark year: Aziz Ahamed received the CADA Laureate Award for Business Innovation — the highest national honour a dealer can achieve. Adil Ahamed was named to Business in Vancouver's Top 40 Under 40.
Adil Ahamed received the CADA Laureate Award for Business Innovation — making the Ahameds the first father-and-son recipients of the industry's most prestigious national recognition. Destination Toyota Burnaby became Canada's top-selling hybrid dealership. Both Honda dealerships achieved Gold Status Certified Green Dealer recognition from Honda Canada.
Adil Ahamed appointed President & CEO; Aziz Ahamed transitions to Chairman of the Board. Launched CarSimple, an automated digital retailing platform designed to make the vehicle purchase experience faster and more transparent.
